The contest of life — is yours and mine

The contest of life — which knows no time ...

 

The contest of life — can be won or lost

The contest of life — must always be fought ...

 

Remember to think

Before you move

Remember we all

Have to pay dues

 

Your mind is your tool —

It must be kept clean

Remember the fool

Who couldn't have seen

 

The mistakes he made

Were simple but still

His mind was laid

With drugs and swill

 

But life goes on

’Till death meets us

And from our wrongs

We must progress

 

There is a plan we must fulfil —

For our lives began in heaven’s mill ...

 

We shall return

If we can prove

That we have earned

Our right to move

 

Into the Glory of God’s Presence

And that we’re sorry

And have repentance
